Edenton Photos is committed to being usable by everyone, including visitors with disabilities. This site targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What's built in

• Descriptive alt text on every photo, generated from the event and its date
• Full keyboard navigation throughout — browse any gallery, slideshow, or lightbox without a mouse
• A visible, always-available pause control on every auto-advancing slideshow
• Focus stays contained within an open lightbox or slideshow, so keyboard navigation never gets lost behind it
• Screen readers are notified when a photo changes
• Motion is reduced or removed automatically if your system requests it
• Sufficient color contrast throughout the site
